Establishing Grove Cedar

In 1973 Tarlok Tut started working at J and J Wood Working to help out his friend, the owner of this company, Tony Janze. Four months later Mr. Tut bought into the company. In 1976, Mr. Janze and Mr. Tut purchased more land in Surrey to open another branch. In 1979, Mr. Janze sold his shares to Mr. Tut. The same year Mr. Tut sold his Surrey branch and changed his Langley company's name to Grove Cedar Ltd. In 1987, Mickey Trapp bought into Grove Cedar and helped build the future of the company. Mr. Trapp retired from Grove Cedar in 1999.
